The Laboratory at Pasco Regional Medical Center provides quality testing and excellence in customer service. Staffed 24 hours each day, your doctor will receive your test results in a timely manner to assist him or her in determining your diagnosis or best plan of treatment. Our laboratory staff consists of certified Medical Technologists, Medical Laboratory Technicians, Diagnostic Care Technicians, Pathologists and Histotechnicians. We are proud to offer these highly trained laboratory professionals for your service. Some of our laboratory services include: coumadin checks, urinalysis, glucose tolerance testing, cholesterol tests, drug tests, stool collections, blood cultures, and pregnancy tests, just to name a few.
NOTE: All laboratory tests require a physician's prescription. Pasco Regional Medical Center accepts out of state physician orders/prescriptions. It is important to bring your physicians telephone and fax number. This enables our laboratory to send your test results to your doctor in a timely manner.
No appointment is necessary for outpatient lab tests. Preferred hours are 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. seven days per week. However, our lab is open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week to meet your walk-in needs. Registration is required for services. You may register at the main information desk in the front lobby Monday through Friday. On weekends, please register with the staff in our Emergency Department. Please remember to bring your physician's order/prescription when you come in for your test.
