PASCO REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER ANNOUNCES QUARTERLY EMPLOYEE AND VOLUNTEER AWARDS
DADE CITY, FLA., –Pasco Regional
Medical Center
is pleased to announce and honor the winners of its quarterly employee
recognition awards.
Elizabeth Garcia, CNA
Elizabeth Garcia, CNA, was named
employee of the quarter. She began her
career with PRMC in September 2007 as a PCT and has since received her CNA
license. Currently she is studying to
become a registered nurse. Co-workers
have said, “She is compassionate about her job and cares for her
co-workers. [She] is very kind and
considerate when working with patients.”
Sharon McKendree, RN
Sharon
McKendree, RN, was named nurse
of the quarter.
Sharon
began working at PRMC in the late ‘80s as a file clerk. She received her LPN license in 1990 and her
RN license in 1996. Sharon has been a vital part of the labor and
delivery department, the Baby Patch, since 2000. Co-workers consider Sharon
a ‘great OB nurse’ and say that patients love
her and request that she is present during their deliveries.
Joe Luce, RN
Joe Luce, RN, was named as manager
of the quarter. Joe began working at
PRMC in 2002 as an RN in the ICU. In
2003 he became a charge nurse and, in 2006, was promoted to nurse manager of
ICU. He currently manages the ICU/PCU
and chairs the clinical advisory council.
Booth Kral, Volunteer
Booth
Kral, was named volunteer of the quarter. She began volunteering at PRMC in August
2007. Booth was nominated by employees and fellow volunteers who have said she
is reliable, punctual, professional and cheerful.

and one mile from U.S. Highway 301 in Dade
